イシヅカチヒロさんとのコラボレーション「マジックスペル」シリーズ最新作。

今回はこれまでにない挑戦として、中国産と台湾産のウーロン茶をビールに使用しました。2種類の茶葉を仕込み工程の異なるタイミングで加え、香りと奥行きを表現しています。

モルトはクリーンなラガーベースに、ウーロン茶の「こばしさ」に寄り添うよう少量のスモークモルトを加えました。ホップはフリースタイル・パシフィカを控えめに使用し、発酵はラガー酵母で行い、茶の個性を際立たせています。

ウーロン茶を主役に、ほのかなスモークと軽やかなホップが調和した、爽やかで個性的な一杯。ぜひ楽しみながら味わってみてください。

We’re back with the latest installment of our ongoing Magic Spell collaboration with Ishizuka Chihiro.

This time, we went somewhere we’ve never gone before. We challenged ourselves to incorporate Chinese and Taiwanese oolong tea into a beer. Two different varieties were used at different stages of the brewing process to layer complexity and aroma.

The base is a clean lager malt bill with just a touch of smoked malt to complement the roasted character (こばし) of the oolong. Hopping was kept intentionally light with Freestyle Pacifica, and the beer was fermented with a classic lager yeast to let the tea shine.

The result is a refreshing, oolong-forward lager where smoke, tea, and subtle hop character blend into something truly unique. It’s a beer made to surprise and invite curiosity.

This time, our Magic Spell characters find themselves in Tsugaru City. Where will they go next?
